SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL, SENDING SATAN TO HELL.

SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL, SENDING SATAN TO HELL.

The ground beneath trembled, splitting open to reveal a chasm that glowed with the fires of Hell. From its depths rose a howling wind, thick with the screams of the damned, pulling at Satan’s broken form. His claws scraped at the stone, leaving bloody streaks as he was dragged toward the abyss. His body, still writhing in torment, slid into the chasm, the flames below licking at his flesh, searing away the last vestiges of his defiance. The pit swallowed him, his form vanishing into the inferno, leaving only the echo of his suffering and the scorched, blood-soaked ground as evidence of his fall.

Michael stood tall, his spear still blazing, its tip dripping with the remnants of Satan’s corruption, now purified by the holy flame. His wings folded slowly, their light softening but never dimming, a testament to his unyielding righteousness. The battlefield lay silent, the air cleansed of its foulness, the chasm sealing shut as if it had never been. The archangel’s gaze, serene and resolute, turned upward, where the heavens parted to bathe him in a radiant glow, his armor, and spear gleaming like the first light of creation.

To conquer the self is to recognize that the battlefield is not always external. Temptation does not only rise in monstrous forms. It lives in habits, in hesitation, in the quiet moments where discipline is tested and resolve is optional.

Saint Michael’s victory is not distant or symbolic. It is instructional. It reminds us that strength is forged through obedience to purpose, that mastery begins with refusal, and that becoming who you are meant to be requires the courage to destroy what pulls you away from that path.

The call does not come once. It comes daily. And each time, you choose whether to answer it.
